Billing & Insurance

IT IS IMPORTANT TO:

1. Verify routine/screening benefits AND diagnostic/medical benefits for outpatient surgery. If a polyp or lesion is found during a routine or screening endoscopy, insurance may not pay what you anticipated and you may incur higher out-of-pocket expenses.
2. Verify the physician and facility where your procedure is scheduled is in network with your insurance company
3. Know you will receive separate bills-
   • Your physician’s office
   • Our facility (Digestive Disease Endoscopy Center)
   • Anesthesia
   • Pathology, Radiology or Laboratory (if applicable)

We accept most types of insurance, such as Medicare, Health Alliance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MultiPlan, as well as many others.

Please Bring Your Insurance Card and Photo I.D. With You.

We will secure any information regarding co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles due from the patient. These fees are required at the time of your procedure.

The amount due is calculated on base fees. You will be billed for all remaining balances, dependent upon the final outcome of your procedure.

If you have no insurance coverage, please come prepared to pay the Center’s facility fee, in full, the day of your procedure.
